The Election Is Prompting Corporations to Put Big Decisions on Hold, Says Jim Cramer

The election is creating uncertainty in corporate America, says Jim Cramer, who adds that company executives are delaying major decisions because of it. He says capital expenditures are frozen, and consumers aren't making big ticket purchases. Cramer also blamed the presidential campaign for recent volatility on Wall Street.  Stocks were little changed late morning on Wednesday, after a sharp drop on Tuesday. Cramer, who's portfolio manager for the Action Alerts PLUS charitable trust, commented from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.
