Be prepared to pay a bit more for your thanksgiving turkey this year. The birds themselves won't be in short supply but Agricultural economists predict that wholesale prices will be driven up this year. That's due to higher feed costs following the drought of 2012. Turkeys are expected to cost 8 to 10 percent more than last year. The U.S. department of Agriculture predicts prices will range between $1.12 and $1.16 per pound this quarter, compared with last years $1.05 per pound. It could also cost more to prepare your Thanksgiving feast, with natural gas prices up about 6 percent on last years numbers and electricity up around 3 percent.
