Tesla may be facing some new competition within the next year.
Tesla (TSLA) - Get Report may be facing some new competition within the next year. The K50 is part super car part electric car. The new roadster is from Qiantu Motor, an offshoot of one of China's biggest automotive design firms Beijing CH-Auto Technology Co. The K50 features a lightweight carbon-fiber body and aluminum frame - materials often associated with business jets and mega-yachts. The K50 will be comparable to Tesla's Model S says the chairman speaking to Bloomberg and will reportedly debut next year. The starting price will likely be $106,000.
