Tesla, Economic Data: What to Watch on Wall Street November 5th
On Wednesday, November 5th electric car company Tesla Motors (TSLA) gears up to report third quarter results after the market closes. There have been concerns over the car maker’s slowing growth as investors watch for delivery figures and other indications of demand in North America, Europe and China markets. Analysts forecast that the company will break even for the period, but the low earnings expectations could mean a target that’s easy to beat. Tesla is reporting after the closing bell, along with organic supermarket chain Whole Foods Market (WFM). Also, look out for earnings from media giant Time Warner (TWX) Wednesday morning before the opening bell. On the economic calendar, we watch for the ADP national employment report and the ISM non-manufacturing index for October. TheStreet's Kurumi Fukushima reports from New York.
