Tesla Climbs on Clues of Musk's 'Masterplan'
Tesla's Elon Musk continues to shake markets With his Twitter account.
Shares of Tesla (TSLA) - Get Report climbed higher Monday after its CEO, Elon Musk, tweeted about what he calls a 'top secret masterplan.' Musk noted that more details are set to be rolled out on Tesla's new initiatives. This is not the first time Musk has taken to Twitter to roll out major developments. Musk previously tweeted preliminary reports before Tesla rolled out its popular Model S and Tesla 3 sedans. Tesla shares are down about six percent so far this year on worries over its growth strategy. Most recently, Tesla sparked some controversy on Wall Street with Musk's proposed merger with solar-panel manufacturer SolarCity.
