Syria Airstrikes Spark Global Safe-Haven Pile On
The U.S launching some 60 missiles Friday at an airbase in Syria on Friday. U.S. officials suspect the Syrian government, led by President Bashar al-Assad, launched a chemical weapons attack on its citizens earlier this week, which killed dozens of people.
As for the market reaction, safe haven assets like gold rose while the Japanese yen gained steam. Stock futures sunk following news of the missile launch but soon recovered.
