Airlines are taking a heavy hit during Winter Storm Stella.
Winter storm Stella has brought air travel in the Northeast to a halt. According to Flightaware, there have been over 6,000 flight cancellations and over 2,500 delays for all those who intended to fly today. Southwest (LUV) - Get Report had over 900 cancellations alone, or 22% of their flights. American Airlines (AAL) - Get Report had 700 cancelled flights or 23%, and JetBlue had 646 cancellations or 66% of their flights. Luckily, most airlines are offering free rebooking for those flights affected by the storm.
