Stocks Slip on Report of Grand Jury Formation in the Russia Investigation
The Russia probe is reportedly heating up.
Stocks were on the rise but took quite a move lower about 30 minutes before the close of trading on Thursday, on a report from The Wall Street Journal saying that Special Counsel Robert Mueller has impaneled a grand jury in the investigation over Russia's involvement in the 2016 presidential election.
The S&P 500 and Nasdaq closed lower. The Dow Jones Industrial Average eked out another record close.
