Stocks were off their lows in midday trading Wednesday after plummeting at the open. The Dow Jones Industrial dropped 350 points earlier in the session after a slew of weak economic data. Yields on the benchmark 10-year note are bouncing back after dipping below 2% for the first time in more than one year. JP Morgan (JPM), Disney (DIS) and Intel (INTC) are right now the blue chips' worst performers. U.S. business inventories rose less than expected in August. The Commerce Department said inventories rose just 0.2%, the smallest in more than a year. The Treasury department says the U.S. deficit for the 2014 budget year was the lowest since President Obama took office six years ago.
