Stocks are moving lower at midday after poor economic reports from Japan and China, retreating from a record high for the S&P last week. Ukraine tensions continue as Russia threatens to cut natural gas supplies to the country and the West threatens sanctions. Resource stocks led losses amid concerns around global economic growth; many economists do not expect an improvement in Chinese economic data anytime soon.
