Stocks Look to Keep Rally Going, Dow Industrials Close to Milestone
The Dow Jones Industrial Average is looking at a strong open and possibly could cross the 22,000 milestone today. Any gains today come after a strong July for all 3 major indexes. July was the best month for the averages since February with the NASDAQ leading the way. Pfizer (PFE) - Get Report has topped earnings expectations but missed on revenue. Revenue for the drug maker came in at $12.9 billion versus expectations of just over $13 billion. Pfizer also increased the midrange of 2017 guidance per share. HBO and 'Game of Thrones" are victims of hacking. The hackers who say they are responsible for attacking HBO say they have stolen and leaked a trove of HBO data onto the web, including a script for an upcoming episode of 'Game of Thrones". In a statement, HBO CEO says the company's tech department is doing all it can to protect its interests.
