U.S. stocks fell at Monday's opening bell extending last week's losses. No major earnings are expected on this Columbus Day holiday but the week will be a busy one for earnings. Heavyweights posting results include JPMorgan Chase (JPM), Citigroup (C), General Electric (GE) and Google (GOOG). JCPenney (JCP) has named Marvin Ellison as its new president starting November 1st. He will also become the retailer's CEO next August when the current CEO steps down. Sears Holding's (SHLD) Kmart chain is offering free credit monitoring as it looks into a cyber attack. The company said some customer credit and debit card numbers were likely taken but didn't say how many. Fiat Chrysler is back on Wall Street. The automaker is making its debut on the New York Stock Exchange under ticker symbol FCAU. Chrysler traded under its own name until 19-98, when it was sold to Daimler.
