Stocks Extend Losses, Tesla Reveals 'D', Microsoft CEO Under Fire
Stocks are lower at the opening bell Friday extending Thursday’s big sell-off. Microsoft’s (MSFT) CEO is under fire after suggesting women shouldn’t ask for a raise and just trust the system to reward them. Satya Nadella made those comments at a women’s technology conference. He has apologized both on twitter and in a letter to Microsoft employees for those comments. Tesla (TSLA) unveiled the meaning of the mysterious 'D' from its CEO’s tweet. Thursday night, the electric carmaker introduced a faster, safer, all-wheel drive version of its flagship Model S. Amazon (AMZN) is planning to open its first ever bricks-and-mortar store. The Wall Street Journal is reporting the store will be located in the middle of New York City, just in time for the holiday season. Dave and Buster’s will begin trading today under the ticker symbol ‘PLAY’. The sports-themed restaurant chain priced at $16 dollars a share, the low end of its expected range.
