The $2 trillion total spending package approved by Congress and signed by President Donald Trump includes payments of just above $1,000 to most Americans.
Here's how that breaks down:
Single people get $1,200. Couples get $2,400. Families get $3,000 and an additional $500 for each child under the age of 17.
Anyone with an individual income above $99,000 per year is not eligible.
The relief package is intended to help offset the toll the coronavirus pandemic has taken on American lives, wallets, and portfolios.
