Starbucks CEO Plans to Hire 10,000 Refugees

Starbucks plans to hire 10,000 refugees from 75 countries over the next five years, its CEO said.

Following President Trump's controversial immigration ban, Starbucks' (SBUX) - Get Free Report CEO Howard Schultz took a strong stance against the administration's decision.

"We are living in an unprecedented time, one in which we are witness to the conscience of our country, and the promise of the American Dream, being called into question," Schultz wrote.

On top of a plan to hire 10,000 refugees, Schultz said Starbucks is adamant about "building bridges, not walls, with Mexico."
