Mobile payments company Square continues to grow, announcing on Wednesday some impressive figures on its expanding footprint. The company said its sellers processed more than $100 million in sales in one day and over 40% of its payment volume stems from businesses that process more than $125,000 annually. That's up from 25% in 2012. The company noted its fastest-growing segment is sellers who process more than $500,000 worth of credit card transactions. Among the other notable statistics Square released, one in four active U.S. credit or debit cards have paid with Square this year, while small businesses using the platform now garner more than 1 billion customer visits per year. TheStreet's Scott Gamm has details from New York.
