Spotify is joining the metaverse, by building Spotify Island on Roblox, where fans from all over can meet artists, do quests and even create their own music.

Spotify has said that they want to turn the players into creators with the island, and there's a stage area where the players can feel like they're performing.

The company did not specify whether the stage will be used for virtual concerts, but--while Spotify is the first music streamer to establish an official presence in Roblox--games such as Fortnite have already thrown virtual concerts.
