Will a Split Congress Lead to Major Market Gains in 2021?

In case you took the weekend off, while former Vice President Joe Biden is projected to defeat President Trump in the presidential election, the blue wave many on Wall Street feared didn't sweep its way through Congress. 

Could continued division on Capitol Hill be a boon for markets heading into the end of the year? 

Chris Versace, a Real Money contributor and co-portfolio manager of Trifecta Stocks and Stocks Under $10, said split Congress could help prevent some of the events Wall Street feared, such as the rollback of tax cuts. 

"Anybody who is expecting a big disruption, I think, is going to be let down," Versace said.
