Virgin Galactic  (SPCE) - Get Free Report founder Richard Branson made history when his five-person crew successfully completed a space trip on July 11.

Not only were people watching the live stream of the trip, but they were also looking at those blue-colored spacesuits. Under Armour,  (UAA) - Get Free Report developed that suit for them.

" We believe in always pushing boundaries, whether that’s through human performance or with Virgin Galactic to design spacewear for the next generation of spaceflight," Under Armour tweeted on Monday.

Needless to say, companies want to produce and design the best outfit as many are eyeing to fly to space in near future.

Tesla (TSLA) - Get Free Report and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk completely understand this, which is why he roped in Hollywood designer Jose Fernandez to design SpaceX’s new spacesuits. The company’s first human passengers launched into orbit in May 2020 were wearing Fernandez's designs.

In the world of aerospace, Collin Aerospace is not new. A Raytheon Technologies subsidiary, the company is working on spacesuits for NASA’s 2024 moon mission.

If you look at aerospace history, companies like ILC Dover and David Clark Company always come first.

Known for making spacesuits for NASA, Neil Armstrong donned the ILC Dover’s suit while stepping on the moon in 1969. On the other hand, David Clark Company's G-4C space suit was donned by Ed White, the first American to walk in space in 1965.
