It's a (WORK) day for Slack, a hot workplace software company!

Slack begins trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday. The exact time, well, no one quite knows. But, TheStreet's reporters say it could be about noon.

Now, this is not an IPO.  No, Slack is listing on NYSE via direct listing.
