SL Green, Kilroy & CBL Remain REITs Worth Owning

SL Green has outperformed the rest of the REITs in the wake of last year's taper tantrum and will continue to do so because of the tight property market in Manhattan, says Scott Crowe, Portfolio Manager for the Resource Real Estate Fund. Crowe says SL Green is also seeing huge rental growth and has the right assets to take advantage of it. He is also bullish on Kilroy Realty because it timed its move into Seattle perfectly and is thriving in the hot Southern California market. Finally, he likes CBL as a deep value, contrarian play, saying its retail business is not as bad the stock is reflecting.
