While Jeff Bezos and Amazon spend the summer touting the new Fire smartphone, Best Buy is silently on the advance. And if Walmart and Target are smart, they would be carefully watching what Best Buy is doing as we inch closer to the holiday season. Brian Sozzi suggests Best Buy should be feared by its rivals this summer. According to an update shared with Sozzi from Best Buy, the company is quickly delivering on the opening of its new Samsung Experience and Sony shops originally announced in early May. Designed to elevate customer service, offer a visual wow factor in a key part of the store, and connect the selling experience to the online world, these new branded shops are currently in 300 U.S. Best Buy store locations, or roughly 28% of the store base.
