Twitter's (TWTR) - Get Report move to stream various NFL games for the 2016 football season is just the tip of the iceberg in the battle between traditional and social media outlets. "We're going to start to see all different types of deals [between sports leagues and media companies]," said Matthew Lieberman, a director at PwC, adding that some deals will involve streaming one game a week whereas others are more comprehensive.
