It's no secret the cloud space is exploding with growth and that includes cloud names that don't get much attention, such as Ring Central (RNG) .

Shares are up over 80% since the start of the year, compared to the S&P 500's 8% gain.

Founded in 1999, Ring central is a cloud communications company and works with a host of major companies like Marriott International (MAR) and Hyatt Hotels Corporation (H) .

"We place legacy hardware solutions from companies like Cisco (CSCO) with a pure cloud based implementation. We tear out old hardware and provide a SaaS solution," said Vlad Shmunis, Ring Central's CEO.
