The company priced its graphics chips for virtual reality software at $199, compared to products offered by other companies for $399. The Wall Street Journal reports the company's reasoning behind the lower pricing is to make the technology more affordable to consumers. A recent survey conducted by the Advanced Imaging Society found 68 percent of respondents think VR equipment is too costly.
