Shareholders Approve Tesla Motors, SolarCity Merger

Shares of Tesla Motors (TSLA) - Get Report  were in the spotlight Friday after shareholders approved its $2 billion merger with SolarCity (SCTY) . More than 85% of Tesla shares voted in favor of the merger. CEO Elon Musk told shareholders Thursday that the companies are trying to make an integrated product. Tesla said in a statement that the transaction will be completed in the coming days.
