The recent Wells Fargo ( (WFC) - Get Report ) scandals are putting the bank's board under new scrutiny.

That includes board member Enrique Hernandez, Jr.

He joined the Wells Fargo board in 2003 and chairs several committees.

Hernandez is also the President and CEO of the security firm Inter-Con, which has a multi-million dollar contract with Wells Fargo.

While corporate governance experts say the deal is legal, disclosed and meets listing standards for publicly traded companies, Brad Keoun says it just doesn't look right and says it raises questions about his independence.
