Samsung's Battle With Amazon, Apple and Google Gets Even Hotter

Samsung (SSNLF) has revealed it is working on a smart speaker.

While a specific release date hasn't been stated, Samsung did confirm it would be launched "soon".

The foray into the packed market space for smart speakers will put Samsung in competition with Amazon (AMZN) - Get Report , Apple  and Google (GOOGL) - Get Report .

It is not yet known whether Samsung will use its digital assistant Bixby on the device. Bixby was recently expanded to over 200 countries.
