Samsung is recalling its Galaxy Note 7 smartphone on reports of battery fires. The device was launched back on August 19 and the company says 2.5 million have been shipped since then. Sales of the Galaxy Note 7 have been suspended. The news comes ahead of next week's Apple event, where the iPhone 7 is expected to be introduced.
