Shares of Royal Caribbean Cruises (RCL) - Get Report jumped on Friday after it's third quarter profit topped forecasts. Earnings of $3.20 a share topped analysts' estimates by a dime. But revenue of $2.56 billion for the period was slightly below expectations. CFO Jason Liberty says that minor operational variations are causing some timing shifts between quarters, but the overall market and the company's overall results remain unchanged from its last guidance. For the current quarter, the cruise operator expects earnings to be $1.20 a share. The company also anticipates full-year earnings in the range between $6 and $6.10 a share.
