That's because, while they might be good at getting customers in their stores, they're not necessarily as good at getting them to click and buy. So retailers from Target to Nordstrom to TJ Maxx's parent company are seeking bargains on startup shopping websites. Men's personalized shopping website Trunk Club went to Nordstrom's while Target bought online beauty website DermStoreBeauty. Ripped-jeans maker Nasty Gal is one that could be on retailers' shopping lists as well as eyeglass maker Warby Parker.
