Markets tend to rise in the third year of a presidential administration and lower oil should help retail stocks in the coming months.
Markets tend to rise in the third year of a presidential administration and lower oil should help retail stocks in the coming months, said Bob Doll, Chief Equity Strategist at Nuveen Asset Management. Doll added that he remains underweight the energy sector, although the worst may be over for big oil producers. He said the stronger dollar will not severely harm multi-national companies, although it may be a headwind down the road.
