The current quarter is expected to be the best ever for Apple Watch sales, according to Apple CEO Tim Cook. Cook told Reuters that sales set a record during the first week of holiday shopping. Cook did not provide specific sales figures for the Watch. Cook's comments followed a report Monday from research firm IDC estimating that Apple Watch sales were down 71% in the third quarter. In an email to Reuters, Cook wrote "our data shows that Apple Watch is doing great and looks to be one of the most popular holiday gifts this year."
