ReachLocal will ramp up spending on digital infrastructure and technology this year to improve the client experience, says the company's new CEO Sharon Rowlands. Rowlands, who was most recently the CEO of Altegrity and is the former CEO of Thomson Financial, is still too new to the company to comment on profitability, but does expect her changes to speed up revenue growth and increase margins by 2015. Finally, Rowlands says ReachLocal is one of the few companies with the scale to reach small businesses.
