Wheels Up is changing the way people think about private jet travel, according to Kenny Dichter, the company's CEO. Wheels Up charges a fee to customers, giving them the opportunity to use a private jet without owning it. Dichter said Wheels Up was built up using a membership model, like ones used by Costco (COST) - Get Report , Amazon (AMZN) - Get Report and Netflix (NFLX) - Get Report . According to the company, Wheels Up membership grew nearly 89 percent over the past year, and by the end of this year Wheels Up anticipates it will have more than 3,500 members. Wheels Up is the latest example of a company benefitting from the sharing economy.
