President Trump Tweets About Expected Toyota-Mazda Plant
Global automotive giants Toyota and Mazda are expected to announced today they will build a joint plant somewhere in the United States. President Donald Trump was up early and weighed in on the announcement. He tweets 'Toyota & Mazda to build a new $1.6B plant here in the U.S.A and create 4K new American jobs, a great investment in American manufacturing'. The plant is expected to open in 2021 but there's no word on where it will be located. Yelp ( (YELP) - Get Report ) shares are soaring this morning. Grubhub ( (GRUB) - Get Report ) says it will acquire Eat24, Yelp's food delivery service, in a $287 million deal. Once the deal is done, diners will be able to order from 75,000 restaurants from either platform. Cigna ( (CI) - Get Report ) is out with higher revenue and earnings. The insurer also raised its 2017 outlook and now sees earnings in a range of $9.75 to $10.05 a share. Like Aetna ( (AET) ) yesterday, Cigna is subject to the uncertainty in the health insurance market.
