President Trump Pledges to 'Streamline' FDA, Cut Regulations and Lower Prices

In a meeting with biotech and pharmaceutical executives at the White House, President Trump promised to "streamline the FDA." Trump is also looking to cut regulations so new drugs can be brought to market faster and more cheaply.

Trump also said he wants drug prices lowered through more competitive bidding. "We're going to work on innovation, we're going to work on price. We can save tens of billions of dollars and you people are going to be great," said Trump.
