President Trump Condemns Hate Groups, Days After Charlottesville Attack
Days after the deadly attack in Charlottesville, President Trump comes out with his strongest condemnation yet of the hate groups who rallied there.
Just hours after Merck & Co Inc ( (MRK) - Get Report ) CEO Kenneth Frazier announced that he is stepping down from President Trump's American Manufacturing Council, the President condemned the hate groups that rallied in Charlottesville, Virginia over the weekend.
in a statement, Frazier said that he felt a "responsibility to take a stand against intolerance and extremism."
That drew the President's ire on Twitter. He wrote that he hoped Frazier would have more time to "LOWER RIPOFF DRUG PRICES!"
Jim Cramer weighed in on the controversy before the President delivered his televised remarks.
