President Barack Obama delivered his annual address Wednesday to the United Nations General Assembly. He called on world leaders to unite in confronting challenges to combat threats from ISIS and other extremist groups, as well as the Ebola epidemic in West Africa, Russia's intervention in Ukraine and conflicts in the Middle East. He said the world is at a crossroads between war and peace and added that the United States is prepared to take actions against immediate threats but can’t do it alone, saying many of the world's problems are the result of 'the failure of our international system to keep pace with an interconnected world.'
