President Obama Outlines More Than 12 Areas of Reform for 2014
In his fifth State of the Union address, President Barack Obama outlined plans to act on his own to make reforms in more than 12 areas in 2014. Ronald Orol, senior editor for The Deal, details the changes President Obama plans to make, including raising the minimum wage for new federal contract workers and creating tax incentives for trucks that use natural gas. President Obama also discussed some ideas that he said he needs help from Congress on. Orol details these ideas and explains why some of them are not likely to be achieved.
