President Donald Trump and China's Leader Xi Talk North Korea
China reportedly wants a peaceful resolution to the North Korea problem. Several reports say U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi talked on the phone overnight about the situation as the United States sends an aircraft carrier heads to the region. Trump has repeatedly called on China to do more to rein in its unruly neighbor. Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is in Russia. The New York Times says Tillerson said Syrian leader Bashir Al Assad regime is coming to an end. He warned Russia that it was at risk of becoming irrelevant in the Middle East by continuing to support him. United Airlines (UAL) - Get Report CEO apologizes again for the forcible removal of a passenger on a flight earlier this week. Meanwhile, Chinese social media continues to rage at the airline. United is the largest U.S. carrier operating in China, accounting for 20% of all flights between the two countries.
