Prediction Markets See Clinton's Odds Declining, Expanding Map for Trump

Those betting the outcome of the 2016 election saw the impact of the FBI's decision to reopen its investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails before the polls did. The former secretary of state's odds at the presidency dropped nearly immediately on Friday as news broke of FBI director James Comey's letter to Congress. The polls have been slower to measure the impact of the bureau's late-October surprise. Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight model, which follows polling, is just now measuring the impact.
