Patrons of certain Pizza Hut locations are now able to order by the slice for the first time ever. The restaurant chain plans to start offering pizza by the slice at two locations in York, Nebraska and Pawtucket, Rhode Island today. The pizza will be made with a thinner-style recipe that is expected to take three to four minutes to heat up, speedier than the 7-10 minutes of baking time of traditional whole pies, according to the Associated Press. A slice will cost between $2 and $3. The plans follow similar moves by rival Dominos, which has also been selling pizza by the slice at some of its new stores.
