Pizza Inn Holdings launched in 1958, and on Friday January 9, CEO Randy Gier is looking forward to 'Rave' reviews on the Nasdaq Market Site. The company, and its ticker, are getting a big overhaul as Pie Five Pizza's parent company rebrands and gets a new ticker, going from PZZI to RAVE and Rave Restaurant Group. With hundreds of locations, Pizza Inn is a growing brand under the Rave Restaurant Group brand and could represent the future of how consumer brands look to take on legacy issues. With high-end pizza (like high-end burgers) taking more market share, Rave's rebrand may take off.
