PepsiCo & Tesla Earnings: What to Watch on Wall Street Feb 11
Earnings season is almost over, but Wall Street will be expecting results from a few big names on Wednesday, February 11. Media giants AOL (AOL) and Time Warner (TWX), along with PepsiCo (PEP) report earnings before the opening bell. Tesla Motors (TSLA) is set to report financial results after the markets close with Wall Street looking for earnings per share of $0.31 on sales of $1.23 billion. Aside from earnings, there is also important economic news and data on Wednesday, beginning at 8am eastern with a speech from Dallas Federal Reserve Bank President Richard Fisher on Fed policy. Investors expect the Fed to raise rates in 2015, the first time since 2006, and will be watching Fed officials closely in upcoming public appearances. At 10:30am the EIA Petroleum Status report is released, followed by the Treasury budget report at 2pm. TheStreet's Scott Gamm reports from New York.
