The time has finally arrived -- third quarter earnings will provide investors the last comprehensive look into the performance of public companies for 2014, and this morning we're expecting Safeway, Family Dollar and PepsiCo. Family Dollar comes into today's earnings report expecting to sellitself to Dollar Tree, but, shares are already up 20 percent, marking a win for a company that isn't beating expectations. Plus, PepsiCo looks to keep its streak alive, having out gained Coca-Cola Co. this year. And Jim Cramer likes Panera Bread to reverse losses, in part thanks to its trading at a historical discount.
