Pepsi's Tone-Deaf Ad Sparks Outrage Across the Internet
It looks way too similar to an iconic Black Lives Matter protest moment.
PepsiCo's (PEP) - Get Report tone-deaf ad featuring Kendall Jenner has sparked outrage across the internet. The commercial features the reality TV star and model stopping a protest by handing an attractive police officer a Pepsi. The image of Jenner approaching the police is similar to a Black Lives Matter protest photo of Leshia Evans in Baton Rouge in 2016. However, Evans was arrested. And carting around a Pepsi probably wouldn't have helped her out.
