J.C. Penney ended its yearlong CEO search this week, naming retail industry veteran Marvin Ellison to officially replace interim CEO Myron Ullman. Ullman will stay on for a year as executive chairman after Ellison officially takes his spot next August. Meanwhile, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles made its Wall Street debut this Monday under the ticker FCAU. CEO Executive Sergio Marchionne rang the closing bell at the NYSE to celebrate the occasion. Finally, Time Warner said this week that HBO will launch a standalone online streaming service next year to make its shows available to people who currently do not subscribe to cable TV.
