U.S. stocks opened slightly higher on Wednesday as investors braced for remarks from Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen, who will address the House Financial Services Committee in Washington. On Tuesday, Yellen testified in front of Senators, reiterating the Fed's cautious approach when it comes to rate hikes going forward. She also said a Brexit could causes significant economic repercussions. Tesla (TSLA) - Get Report shares were in focus after the electric automaker shocked investors on Tuesday night, announcing a $2.8 billion stock offer for energy company SolarCity (SCTY) . The price Tesla offered represented a 21 percent premium to SolarCity's closing stock price on Tuesday. TheStreet's Scott Gamm reports from Wall Street.
