NYSE Trader: I'm Not Worried About a Flash Crash This Summer

It's been a few years since the market's last flash crash in August 2015.

But Matthew Cheslock, an equity trader with Virtu Financial, based on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, isn't worried about another one coming to the surface in the near-term.

He thinks the market is well insulated from one thanks to technology and said that light trading volume, which can help trigger a flash crash, is just a typical market reality of the summer months.
